What do you do when your tenant calls you to say that something is not working or needs to be replaced and this is your responsibility according to your rental contract? Do you ... call the tradesmen you know that can help? pickup the Yellow Pages and start calling? Chances are your contact can't get there because of prior commitments and trolling the Yellow Pages, well you know how that can be. Perhaps 10 phone calls later and you find somebody that may be able to help you. We have all faced this dilemma. Isn't it amazing how you always find yourself in this situation at the most inopportune moment or when you are hundreds of miles away. Finding a reliable contractor to fix problems at short notice can be a real problem.
